Emma - Owner of Feline Good Cat Grooming, and Master Cat Groomer.

I've always been a "crazy cat lady" (and proud!) and have been a cat sitter part time for many years. I knew I wanted to work with cats full time, and when I came across the Master Groomer course at the The Cat Grooming School, London I knew that was something I just had to pursue!  I completed my Master Cat Groomer training there under Svetlana Broussova and Edita Urbonaite in August 2020. I have also had practical training at KD Salon following the Pet Industry Federation (PIF)-accredited cat grooming course, and completed the online cat grooming syllabus with the National Cat Grooming Institute of America (NCGIA).

My primary aim while working as a specialist cat groomer is to safeguard cats from avoidable suffering by getting my feline clients' problems remediated and agreeing a regular grooming schedule bespoke to their needs going forward. So many problems that cats and their owners experience (such as painful knotting, matting and associated behavioural problems, over-grown or ingrowing claws, excessive shedding and furball production) can be mitigated or even entirely prevented by regular professional grooming. Staying on top of the removal of shed fur from your kitty’s coat before it has a chance to start tangling is key in keeping your furbaby knot- and pain-free.

For your peace of mind, I am fully insured for cat grooming, hold a DBS Certificate and am trained in feline first aid.

When not grooming cats, I can normally be found playing with my own 2 cats (moggies named Ilia and Valentina), making friends with the neighbourhood cats, or reading science fiction and fantasy.

Faith - Salon Assistant

Faith is the first point-of-contact for most clients; responsible for taking and responding to client bookings, making sure that you can find us if it is your first visit and answering any questions you may have before your cat's groom. Faith also assists groomer Emma in the salon, making sure your cat feels relaxed, safe and sometimes happily distracted with treats (provided by the cat-parent, for allergy-avoidance reasons).

Faith had a tiny cat called Mog, her favourite big cat is a Caracal and when she isn't working, she is normally reading with a chai latte in hand, or exploring the countryside.

In addition, Faith is a very talented pet portraiture artist - you may notice her portraits of Emma's cats on the walls when dropping your cats off for their groom!
